The Devonian Forest

The Gilboa forest exhibit made the New York State Museum a popular destination for the first time.  Scientists who studied fossils were also excited to see such a dramatic display.  Goldring wasn't satisfied with only sharing her research with people in Albany; she also made sure some fossils stayed in Gilboa.  As new discoveries are made, the balance Goldring sought continues.
